I popped into the crawlspace to add a main water line shutoff valve, only to discover that the drainage issue under the house was substantially worse than I'd anticipated. I leveled the dirt as a temporary solution until the weather cools down (it's 100 degrees right now). In fall, I'll return to tackle the problem for good.
